Adult volunteers needed to lead these particular stations: Bible Adventures (portraying the Word of God through skits), tasty treats (preparing snacks based on the message of the day), teambuilding games, cool Bible songs, decorating, and KidVid (daily Bible video clip). VBS will take place from July 8th – July 12th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Education Center for children who are graduates of Kindergarten to 4th grade and also preschoolers ages 4 and 5. More information will be coming about registration. Adult station leaders (18 yrs. old and above) are required to plan the undersea VBS adventure. Planning sessions will start in December. Our Mother Teresa’s Helping Hands Mission will be collecting gift cards for families in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will also have the Angel Tree Program for gifts for the families in need (see separate announcement). We have quite a few families in need and the list is growing. Please consider purchasing a gift card from our Scrip Program or from your local store before December 15th for Christmas. If you wish to purchase a gift card from STC, you can pick up a form from the Chapel, Holy Family Room or Parish Office and we will fill the order for you. Your pre-purchased gift cards or order form with cash or check can be placed in an envelope marked MTHHM and dropped into the Sunday Collection basket, Holy Family Room in Church, the Parish Office Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. School/Child Care or P.R.E.P. Offices. If gift card does not show amount, please write it on card or attach a note. Cash donations in any denomination are welcomed and will be put towards gift cards. The Flame of Love Organization is currently operating throughout the USA and Canada and many other countries. A speaker from the Flame of Love organization will be present at St. Teresa of Calcutta Ministry Center on November 29th from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. You are invited to come and learn about how Jesus and Mary gave Elizabeth Kindlemann the knowledge of the Flame of Love and how they wish their message to spread to us and to all people in many countries throughout the world. This will be a very worthwhile evening for all who are able to attend.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has launched a website with resources to support those who are experiencing mental health struggles and those who love them. The website offers links to find Catholic clinicians, local crisis response phone numbers and ministries that can assist with recovery and healing. In addition, there are tools to help parishes, schools and institutions cultivate a deeper awareness of and responsiveness to these realities, suffered by so many. The STC Seniors will not hold a business meeting on the Tuesday, December 12th. In its place we will enjoy our Christmas Luncheon on Wednesday, December 13th at Copperfield's on Ridge Pike at 1:00 PM. We sincerely hope that all our members will join us for lunch. We will order our lunch from the menu and each individual will absorb the cost of their lunch. We always have a good time. If you haven't been to a meeting, there is no reason why you cannot join us for the Christmas luncheon
St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish and the Knights of Columbus want to celebrate your wedding anniversary on Sunday, October 15th at the 12:00 PM Mass. Come celebrate your milestone wedding anniversary! Couples celebrating their 5th, 10th, 15th....60th+ (any anniversary ending in "5" or "0"), will receive a special wedding anniversary blessing and recognition during the Mass. Are you a pet or animal lover? Do you have your own furry or feathered friends at home, or know others with animal companions? Cats and dogs, pigs and birds, lizards and spiders, hamsters and fish (in water, please!) All are welcome to join Deacon Jim on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00 AM for a special Blessing of the Animals service on the fields behind the school. This special event commemorates the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, where animals have been blessed since the middle ages. No Saint is more closely associated with animals than St. Francis of Assisi. All pets are welcome to bring their humans, of course! We hope to see you and your furry, feathered, fuzzy, and finny companions.

Volunteers are needed for Decision Point! The Decision Point program seeks to help the youth of our parish understand and live their faith as they prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation (7th Grade P.R.E.P. and STC school students). If you are someone who enjoys sharing your faith and helping children grow and live as Catholics in the world today, we are looking for you! No planning is required, all lessons are lead and provided by the Decision Point Coordinator, all you need to do is to be willing to share your faith and experiences. Help is needed on either Sunday (9:00 AM- 10:15 AM) or Monday (6:30 PM - 7:45 PM), we meet roughly every other week in the Parish Ministry Center Hall from September to April.
